LOVOFERT CN 15

Nitrogen fertilizersSolid nitrate fertilizers

Calcium nitrate is a fully water - soluble fertiliser with a fast action. It is very beneficial on more acidic soils, as the calcium from the fertiliser reduces the effect of soil acidity. Due to the high mobility of nitrogen in the soil and the risk of leaching, higher doses of calcium nitrate are not recommended on light sandy soils, in areas of high rainfall and generally single doses above 300 kg/ha. It is recommended mainly for regenerative fertilisation of winter crops, for late (qualitative) side - dressing of cereals, for side - dressing of weakened clover covers, for side - dressing of sugar and fodder beet, poppy, maize, meadow grass, vegetables and for operational removal of calcium deficiency in plant nutrition.

Recommendations for application

The fertilizer is recommended especially for regenerative fertilization of winter cereals, for late (qualitative) additional fertilization of cereals, for additional fertilization of weakened lucerne plants, sugar beet, fodder beet, poppy, maize, green fodder mixtures, meadow vegetation, vegetables, and also for operative removal of calcium deficiency in plant nutrition.

Packaging, transport, and storage

Store in original packages, in a dry area, separated from foods and out of reach of children. PE  empty packages should be submitted for organized collection of secondary raw materials. Packaged product should be stored in storage areas, in bags stacked on top of each other up to the max. height of 1.5 m or on pallets up to the max. height of 3.5 m.

If in bulk, to be stored in storage areas (boxes) on the floor with impermeable surface and protected against nitrate corrosion. Must be covered with PE tarp during storage.
